JOB DESCRIPTION

Active family is looking for a Full-time, dedicated and professional Housekeeper to help maintain their home. The candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to take on a variety of responsibilities. You will perform a variety of housekeeping duties including cleaning, tidying the home, sweeping, dusting, washing dishes, mopping floors, vacuuming, laundry and organizing household items, and Assists in caring for the family's children, including supervising playtime, preparing meals, and helping with homework.

Provide support to the family, and take care of all various tasks and duties, such as running errands, scheduling appointments for the Family.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:

• Regular daily cleaning, including dish washing, general sweeping, laundry, vacuuming, scrubbing, mopping of tiles, dusting, and deep cleaning.

• General laundry, including washing, drying and ironing (clothes & sheets). Laundry care and ironing tasks as needed.

• Knowledge of cleaning products, materials, Methods and equipment.

• Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products and materials.

• Dust and polish furniture, room accessories, and organizing closets. Scrub sinks, basins, bathtubs, showers, and toilets in bathrooms.

• Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as needed. Clean rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.

• Dispose of trash/waste from bins and containers, and replace trash liners. Report any maintenance or repair issues and replacements needed when encountered.

• Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products.

• Help with miscellaneous special requests as needed.

• Provide excellent service to family and guests.

• Keep all public spaces neat and tidy. Change bed linens and make beds according to the required standards.

• Adhere to health and safety regulations during cleaning tasks. Ensure safety and security protocols are followed while cleaning and entering rooms.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience & Skills:

• High school education or diploma.

• At least one year of proven experience as a Housekeeper or Previous experience cleaning preferred.

• Organizational skills and Forward thinking.

• Basic cooking skills, Childcare knowledge.

• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time.

• Organized and able to follow a schedule.

• Pay attention to detail when cleaning.

• Ability to follow verbal directions and Attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques. Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills.

• Reliability and a strong work ethic.

• Very professional with great experience and discretion.

• Excellent English communication skills.

Payment: We offer you an attractive salary package (fixed salary(N40,000)

The agreed salary is not automatically guaranteed at the end of each pay period. It is subject to the employee meeting the agreed-upon deliverables, KPIs, and responsibilities stated in this contract.

Where the Employee fails to meet 95% or more of the performance expectations for two consecutive weeks or more without a valid justification or improvement plan, we reserves the right to withhold, reduce, or prorate the salary payment for that period.

Any such decision shall be based on performance reports, task delivery, and objective assessment by the supervisor. Employees who consistently meet or exceed expectations will be considered for performance bonuses, salary raises, or growth-based rewards, irrespective of their starting salary.
