About Voltxcore

Voltxcore is a global company that started as an online renewable energy solution in 2022. Since then, we have grown to offer a vast selection of renewable energy products, services, and technologies. We are seeking a talented Web Designer/Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites for Voltxcore, with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles and web design technologies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive, visually appealing websites.

• Optimize websites for SEO and ensure they are mobile-responsive.

• Manage WordPress Content, Plugins & Updates with our tools.

• Assist Social Media Team With Graphics

• Create logos and graphics for various branding needs.

• Design engaging and innovative digital assets such as website banners, social media graphics, and email templates

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and campaigns

• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity

• Optimize graphics for web and mobile platforms to enhance user experience

• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into web design work

• Knowledge of and utilizes applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and HTML.

• Passionate for branding and storytelling using various forms of visual media (websites, logos, brand books, social media graphics).

• Design & Develop engaging and responsive websites using various design tools and Content Management Systems.

• Leverage the use of AI to streamline workflow.

• Maintain a highly organized design system both in XD and folder structures.

• Fiercely independently, but also works well in a team.

• Self-managed and disciplined with note-taking, time tracking, and other related duties.

• Execute and monitor SEO and SEM initiatives for multiple’ programs and campaigns.

• Illustrates established design concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.

• Assists with the coordination of photography, artwork, and printing.

• Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment.

• Have the ability to professionally guide conversations with teams to ensure we’re meeting the needs/objectives of every project.

• Superior communication skills, unmatched organizational skills, and a strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.

• Coordinates with creative personnel, marketing, and other graphic professionals to gather information and materials needed for design.

• Have an eye for clean and artful web design and demonstrate experience creating sites on WordPress, SquareSpace, Wix or other publishing platforms.

• Concept and design clean, purposeful web interface, that is intuitive and user friendly, and allows audiences to engage rapidly and take the appropriate action a company or brand intends.

• Assists in archiving and maintaining digital files, photography, illustrations, logo art, typestyles, and historical collateral samples, of teams materials and resources, and in maintaining a log of said archives to assist other department members in locating necessary files and references.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar field required.

• Proven work experience as a web designer.

• Web Design: 3 to 5 years of experience (Preferred).

• Formal training and/or college degree in web design or programming (with significant, proven experience, formal training may not be required).

• Experience with platforms such as Shopify.

• Excellent project design abilities and innovative creative thinking.

• Ability to develop creative design solutions.

• Ability to multitask with result of completing projects accurately, efficiently and meeting deadlines.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat

• Experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro C and After Effects.

• Experience with Drupal or similar content management systems

• Familiarity with SQL for data analysis

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

• Demonstrable web design skills with a strong portfolio.

• Experience in creating site outlines, storyboards, user flows, process flows and/or site maps.

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, website publishing platforms WordPress, Wix, SquareSpace, and Weebly.

• Proficiency in UI design, visual design, and web design principles

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies

• Experience with tools such as AdobeXD,Photoshop & Illustrator for Design & for email campaigns

• Familiarity with tailwind css, html, php, WordPress

• CSS: 2 years (Required)

• HTML5: 2 years (Required)

• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.

• Up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques and technologies.

• Understanding browser capabilities.

• Some knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization and SEO are a plus.

• Not afraid to learn new things and be challenged.

• Experience with design and a strong eye for solid design, creative design.

• Knowledge of best SEO and SEM practices and proven success incorporating SEO and SEM into new and existing web sites.

• Experience taking web sites live and connecting domain and hosting platforms.

• Thrives on relationship-building.

• Understands digital marketing strategy.

• Passionate about growing and succeeding.

• Background in public speaking, presenting and pitching.

• Proficiency in Hubspot, Basecamp and Zoom.

• Comfortable presenting to groups of all sizes.

• Has a strong portfolio of work showcasing web design and branding capabilities.

• A high degree of emotional intelligence and capable of appreciating both positive and constructive feedback.

• Familiar with development best practices and has the ability to modify some code on a website.

• Capable of leading team meetings and internal discussions around projects.
